Football... Football... Football!!!

This could only mean one thing… Fall is here and so is everything that goes with it. I know I have said it several times in my recent blogs but I swear all we had to do was blink and summer was gone. But while the days are getting shorter, leaves are changing, and the rain is on its way, at least we have something to look forward to. I don’t know when I became such a football fanatic but I love it. My Saturdays and Sundays all fall long are filled up with touchdowns, tailgates, and flipping channels switching between games.

Unfortunately my Seahawks aren’t looking like they’ll have much success this season, but I can’t help but keep my fingers crossed. To Michael’s dismay I have proclaimed Sundays “Seahawk Day” even though he eats, sleeps, and lives Cheesehead stuff this time of year. I would say the Packers and Seahawks are probably the biggest thing we don’t agree on. As much as he would love me to, you won’t find me in any Green and Yellow Packer garb any time soon. Blech! However, I did add a few Packers to my fantasy football team, figuring I’d have to watch the games anyway so at least I’d have a reason. (Smart huh? J) I am hoping my Seahawks will surprise us all this year, but regardless I’ll be cheering them on every Sunday.

While we may not agree on our Pro team choices, we definitely are both SUPER excited for the WOU season! Michael will spend most of his time during the home games working, while I enjoy myself tailgating and on the side lines, but he’s ok with that. Saturdays at McArthur field are always lots of fun and a Wolves WIN makes them even better. We’ll be at all 4 home games for sure and stoked to travel to Missoula Montana to see them take on the Griz! GO WOLVES!
